Library CardsChildren who are five years of age and living in Waterloo or Grant Township are eligible for their own library cards.
Children who live outside of the town of Waterloo or Grant Township but attend DeKalb Central Schools are also eligible for a library card. |
Book CollectionThe Children's Department contains picture books, fiction, nonfiction, reference books and magazines for children from birth through the upper elementary grades. There is also an education collection for parents and teachers containing books and videos.

Garrett-Keyser-Butler Community Head Start Program and Early Head Start Program
Children from families whose annual income falls at or below the Federal Poverty level are considered income-eligible for Head Start. A limited number of slots are available for families whose annual income falls between 100 - 130% of poverty. Children who are 3 or 4 by the state school eligibility date are considered age-eligible for Head Start.
